Job Description

Business Development

  • Conduct reviews and feedback sessions with channel leadership & product team for continuous business development
  • Evaluates and monitor the systems/process enablers for business and suggest improvements for operations efficiencies
  • Designing and launch of reward & recognition programs for channel partner to increase sales and build distribution

Channel Partner Management:

  • Interact with the channel partners at agreed levels & frequency to manage expectations, have a committed and a partnership based relationship
  • Understanding the need of channel partner and aligning the team to deliver business nos.
  • Responsible for creating robust distribution/business model
  • Self & sales team SMP adherence to ensure appropriate channel engagement
  • Enable smooth MIS & other information flow to channel on agreed key business parameters
  • Maintain appropriate channel partner satisfaction on support provided by our team to ensure zero escalations
  • Keep an eagle eye towards competition entering into the segment and its product and processes
  • Identify areas in which HDFC Life Sales/partner requires training to help them perform better in their respective job
  • Identify and assessing current and future training needs
  • Persistency-Dues Vs Collection - POSP - 80%

People Management

  • Develop & guide sales team(RM/CSM/FLS)n to avoid channel escalations
  • Nurture & train the sales team to sell better quality & higher quantity
  • Ensure intra & inter departmental collaboration to close issued related to proposal processing
  • Publishing channel MISs on daily to Weekly frequency to sales team
  • Keep track on FLS activation for POSP and CP value penetration and file penetration
  • Maintaining SMP for the channel as per frequency decided
  • Process roll-out and reiteration with channel team and Sales

Project Management-Business enhancement across all channel

  • Think through business requirement for process improvements of HDFC Bank channels
  • Handling project from start to end by coordinating with different internal (BS&T,ETG,BSG,DPPM,Dev team) and external stakeholders (HDFC Bank)
  • Publishing dashboard after discussing on regular weekly project calls
  • Need to perform UAT testing to have a smooth production cycle
  • EMIF to be made a successful journey by keeping an robust process in backend and at front end journey

Service Calling-Customer Service

  • Daily basis need to send service calling report to Vendor
  • Weekly basis data processing for further actionable on cancellation dispositions and others
  • Prepare a month on month tracking on each disposition and tracking cancellation and maintaining record of it for future references.
