Senior Manager - Higher Education & Scholarships

Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in the Scholarship Program department at Bharti Airtel Foundation, your primary responsibility will be to lead the end-to-end management and handling of the Bharti Scholarship Program, including the Adarsh Sr Sec Scholarship. You will engage and coordinate with the scholarship management agency, oversee the process of financial aid and scholarship applications, ensure smooth enrollment of students and institutions, and expand the program. Additionally, you will work on budget-making processes related to scholarships, undertake program and process reviews, conduct mentorship programs for scholars, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting of scholarship activities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end management and handling of the Bharti Scholarship Program, including the Adarsh Sr Sec Scholarship. - Engage and coordinate with the scholarship management agency to oversee the process of financial aid and scholarship applications. - Ensure smooth enrollment of students and institutions as per program design and governance standards. - Expand the scholarship program in alignment with CSR requirements and program governance standards. - Finalize annual scholarship grants in coordination with internal departments and ensure timely disbursals to the agency. - Work on budget-making processes related to scholarships and provide timely inputs for AOP and financial projections. - Undertake program and process reviews to ensure alignment with agreed terms and conditions. - Conduct mentorship programs for scholars in collaboration with Bharti group employees and sector experts. - Coordinate with the Quality team to conduct annual scholarship audits and share findings with the management. - Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of scholarship activities. - Provide program, financial, and other data requirements for the organizational review of the scholarship program. - Handle and design Scholarship Engagement Programs. Qualifications Required: - Post Graduate degree, preferably Masters in Finance, Business Administration, or Social Work. - Minimum 10 years of experience in handling large-scale financial grants in the field of education, higher education, and scholarships at the national level. - Good understanding and experience in the higher education space, particularly in TECH/STEM fields. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and report generation. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including tele-calling. - High awareness of developing Higher Education/Scholarship Programs. - Experience in donor management and designing/implementation of scholarship or education programs. - Ability to create strategic plans and demonstrate in-depth competency in decision-making.,
