Senior Manager: Enterprise application

Key Responsibilities

1.

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications including SAP, Microsoft platforms, DMS and other project management systems deployed for construction
• Drive adoption strategies that increase user engagement and realize the full potential of existing platforms
• Continuously assess application performance, user satisfaction, and business value delivery and cost optimization measures
• Develop and maintain application roadmaps aligned with business strategy and technology trends

• Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies, particularly AI and automation tools, to create process efficiencies and competitive advantages
• Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation across construction workflows
• Balance innovation with pragmatic implementation, ensuring new technologies deliver tangible ROI
• Champion digital transformation initiatives that drive measurable business impact

3.

• Lead both greenfield implementations and brownfield optimization projects from conception through to steady-state operations
• Apply hands-on delivery experience to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality standards and stakeholder satisfaction
• Establish implementation best practices and repeatable delivery frameworks

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with software vendors, implementation partners, and support providers
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements that protect organizational interests while enabling partnership success
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and select optimal partners for specific initiatives
• Hold vendors accountable for deliverables, quality, and timelines

• Develop comprehensive business cases with clear ROI projections, risk assessments, and success metrics
• Manage application budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across competing priorities
• Track and report on project financial performance, identifying variances and taking corrective action
• Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising service quality or business value

• Continuously scan the market for new platforms and solutions that could benefit the organization
• Conduct thorough evaluations of build vs. buy decisions, considering total cost of ownership
• Assess technical feasibility, integration requirements, and organizational readiness for new technologies
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CTO on technology investments and platform consolidation opportunities

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges and translate them into technology solutions
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
• Build consensus across diverse internal customer groups with competing needs
• Maintain transparent reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

• Bachelors degree in engineering (Computer science, IT or related field)
• Certifications in relevant technologies (SAP, Microsoft, PMP, ITIL) is a plus.

Professional Experience

• 12+ years in enterprise application management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven track record in project implementation roles within top-tier service organizations
• Experience managing large-scale, complex technology projects involving applications, infrastructure, and security
• Demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget

Technical Competencies

• Deep understanding of enterprise application architectures and integration patterns
• Strong understanding of application development lifecycles, infrastructure management, and security frameworks
• Familiarity with construction project management systems and industry workflows is a plus
• Understanding of AI/ML capabilities and practical applications in enterprise settings
• Experience with data analytics, reporting platforms, and business intelligence tools
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance requirements
