Senior Manager, Engineering

As a Senior Manager in our dynamic product development team, you will collaborate with technical team members, management, and customer support teams. You will have the opportunity to manage teams, as well as design and develop services utilized across product lines. Your responsibilities will include providing leadership to the team through various processes, fostering cross-team and internal collaboration. You will guide the team in building scalable services and applications optimized for the best customer experience, considering scale, performance, security, and availability. Additionally, you will lead efforts in requirement gathering, design, architecture, and software component development. You must be able to report the status and quality of team deliverables, identify opportunities for improvement, support diagnosis of complex developmental and operational problems, and promote team members" engagement and career development. Collaboration with global stakeholders and business partners for product delivery and improvement is essential. You will also need to follow company software development processes and standards, unblock team members from a technical and solutioning perspective, provide support for production outages, and assist in the team's hiring needs. You should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 14 years of software product development experience. Experience in building and managing development teams with multiple technologies is required, as well as proficiency in design and development using Java or .Net(C#). Knowledge of at least one additional language like NodeJS or Python is necessary. Experience with enterprise web-based application technologies, various application frameworks, and public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferably AWS) are essential. You should have a solid understanding of security concerns for web-based applications, REST architectural style, Microservices concepts and technologies, as well as proficiency in different development, integration, and QA tools. Strong experience with database concepts (Relational and non-relational) is required, and familiarity with tools and technologies like Docker, Pipeline, Terraform, Queuing, and Caching is a plus. You must be able to contribute to the mentioned technologies when needed. This role offers work from home flexibility of up to one day per week.,
