As a Finance Manager at the company, your role involves managing a diverse team that supports large, complex business units or finance functions with a significant impact on business results and organizational strategy. You will advise senior management on financial and other business performance metrics, facilitate data-driven decision-making, and collaborate with leadership as a strategic partner. Your focus will be on talent development, operational excellence, and the creation of innovative business analytics tools and processes to meet evolving business needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Cost Optimization and Performance Management** - Drive initiatives for detailed cost visibility to improve HPS cost structure. - Identify insights and cost optimization opportunities, managing non-controllable costs across HPS. - Partner on financial controls and compliance to ensure alignment with legal, accounting, and organizational standards. - Oversee and drive execution of initiatives to realize cost savings identified in team analyses. - **Operational Excellence and Analytics Development** - Lead development and implementation of HP Solutions business analytics tools. - Drive pan-HPS data improvement initiatives and standardize reporting processes for enhanced decision-making. - Collaborate with Finance, IT teams, and division analysts to create consistent reporting frameworks and key operational metrics. - Build metrics, dashboards, and analytics capabilities tailored to HPWS business needs for performance management. - Drive tool automation and efficiencies, including AI applications. - **Strategic Leadership** - Partner with other business analysis teams to identify insights and recommendations for business growth and profitability. - Perform ad-hoc data analyses and deliver insights to support business requests. - Provide thought leadership on cost management and profitability analysis. - Ensure alignment and prevent redundancy with other teams delivering data analytics tools within HPS. - **Team Leadership and Talent Development** - Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. - Lead talent management efforts, including recruitment, succession planning, performance evaluations, and career development initiatives. - Coach team members to enhance their skills and grow in their careers. - Build a high-performing team with expertise in cost management, analytics, and insights. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related discipline. - 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience. - Expertise in financial planning, data analytics, and cost management. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. - Experience with building and implementing dashboards, metrics, and reporting frameworks. - Basic familiarity with the HP Solutions Business preferred.
