Corporate Finance (‘CF’) team of KPMG has developed a strong credibility in the marketplace for providing expert transaction advisory services with regard to mergers, acquisitions and fund raising initiatives for large and medium corporates across diversified sectors.

From the initial stages of assessing the critical requirements of corporate/shareholders to identifying the suitable financial/strategic partner, the CF team manages the transaction process in a well-coordinated manner.

The team's core competencies are in the areas of industry knowledge, financial modeling, negotiations and transaction management. A key strength of the practice is the tremendous goodwill it enjoys with major corporate groups and private equity players

• Have 5 - 8 years of post-qualification experience in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate finance PE Fund raising and Valuations or in a similar environment
• Have experience of successfully completed M&A / PE Fund raising transactions commensurate with number of years of experience
• Strong and well-rounded business and macroeconomic understanding
• Strong analytical bent of mind and structured problem solving approach
• High level of strategic and creative thinking
• Extremely high level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point
• Have strong soft skills like; interpersonal skills, team skills, communication skills - both verbal and written
Have the ability to work under pressure – stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours

Qualification

• Be a qualified CA (ideally 1st attempt)/ MBA from a reputed institute
