Job Description

Were Hiring: Manager / Sr. Manager – Broking (Commercial Lines)

Location:

Eligibility Note:

minimum of 5 years of experience

Role Overview:

Manager / Sr. Manager – Broking

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage relationships with
key and high-potential insurance brokers
in the Pune region
Drive
new business acquisition
and
renewals
through effective broker engagement
Provide
training and product orientation
to new and existing brokers on general insurance offerings
Collaborate with the
Underwriting team
to prepare competitive proposals and close deals
Coordinate with
Operations
for timely and accurate policy issuance
Work closely with the
Claims department
to ensure smooth and fair claim settlement for customers
Track broker performance and identify opportunities for expansion and deeper engagement
Ensure adherence to internal policies and
regulatory compliance

What You Bring:

Minimum
5 years of experience
in general insurance, with a strong focus on
commercial lines and broking channel
In-depth understanding of commercial insurance products (Property, Marine, Engineering, Liability, etc.)
Strong network of broker relationships in the Pune and West region market
Proven ability to manage large accounts and drive consistent business growth
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Postgraduate degree required
; MBA preferred
High level of ownership, client servicing orientation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
