Role Overview: As the Senior Manager, Audit Professional Practices at Invesco, you will play a crucial role in enhancing audit methodology and processes to maximize the effectiveness of the Internal Audit function. Your responsibilities will include managing and contributing to various Internal Audit activities, ensuring methodology alignment with IIA standards, overseeing quality assurance, and fostering education and engagement within the IA team and with business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and maintenance of frameworks and standards for managing Internal Audit professional practices effectively - Continuously improve and embed Audit professional practices globally and regionally as required - Support the broader Audit agenda by aligning reporting and system requirements with Audit professional practices principles - Manage Internal Audit's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP) to ensure quality and consistency in Audit activities execution - Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology platform enhancements, and integration of best practices to drive continuous improvement - Collaborate with Audit, Operations, Intelligence, and Analytics functions to identify enhancements for frameworks and standards, increasing Audit's value and effectiveness - Provide training and activities to embed professional practices across the Internal Audit function and global business - Streamline assurance and control testing frameworks across the business to enhance firm-wide consistency and cohesiveness - Promote innovation, continuous learning, and improvement in all Audit activities by leveraging technology and data analytics effectively Qualifications Required: - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Audit functions in financial services, preferably in asset management - Strong understanding of Audit frameworks, methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements - Proven success in defining and implementing Audit QAIP framework within the Financial Services industry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engagement with senior audit leaders and stakeholders - Experience in deploying analytical thought leadership for process enhancement and data analysis - Ability to analyze complex concepts, communicate effectively, and present data meaningfully - Collaborative, solutions-focused approach with a proactive attitude towards challenging the status quo About the Company: Invesco is a leading independent global investment firm dedicated to rethinking possibilities for clients worldwide.
