Role Overview

This is a front-end investment banking role that requires complete ownership of the deal lifecycle - from origination to execution - in the structured credit and DCM space. The professional will work directly with the firm's Partners, supported by our research, analytics, and BD infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Originate and execute structured-credit transactions in the - 100-1,000 crore range, including promoter funding, acquisition finance, mezzanine, and solution-based debt structures.- Engage with corporate clients, promoters, and treasury teams to design financing structures aligned with business goals.- Prepare proposals, transaction notes, and deal collateral to support credit evaluation and investor presentations.- Coordinate with legal, lender, and due-diligence teams during execution to ensure smooth closure of mandates.- Manage and expand relationships with NBFCs, private-credit funds, and banks.- Track market developments and investor appetite across credit instruments.- Collaborate closely with analysts and business-development teams to build the structured credit pipeline.Our Support- Access to ongoing deal flow from our corporate advisory and equity transactions.- Dedicated analyst support for research, data gathering, and material preparation.- Business development and marketing assistance for outreach and pipeline building.- Operational, legal, and compliance support from the firm's central functions.- Partner mentorship for strategic decision-making and relationship leverage.The professional is expected to leverage these institutional strengths while independently driving mandate origination and execution.

Profile Requirements

- 6-10 years' experience in Structured Finance / DCM / Corporate Banking / Investment Banking.- Proven track record in customized capital-raising and credit-structuring solutions.- Strong client-relationship and negotiation skills.- Sound understanding of term-sheet structuring, security mechanisms, and credit evaluation frameworks.- CA / MBA / CFA (or equivalent).- Independent, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in a lean setup.- Open to travel; no remote working option.Compensation & Growth:- Fixed + variable incentive (5-10% of net revenue).- Travel and operational expenses reimbursed.- High-growth pathway: Potential to lead the Structured Credit vertical and participate in profit sharing as the platform scales.
