Job Description

Key Skills:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications, ensuring compliance with quality, performance, and security standards.
Write and maintain transactional and batch applications following AMBe standards.
Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application reliability and stability.
Manage application releases into production and provide hyper-care support during critical periods.
Deliver comprehensive technical documentation for all developed applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems using root-cause analysis and effective bug-fixing techniques.
Provide basic end-user support and respond to queries related to applications.
Participate in guard-duty and on-call responsibilities as required.
Mentor and guide junior Mainframe developers, fostering knowledge sharing and a collaborative team environment.
Understand business flows related to MES and Supply Chain applications to ensure functional accuracy in development.

Experience Required:

4 - 7 years of experience in Mainframe application development and support.
Strong hands-on expertise in COBOL, JCL, Mainframe security, and application lifecycle management.
Experience in MES or Supply Chain-related Mainframe applications is highly desirable.
Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex Mainframe issues.
Experience mentoring junior developers and contributing to team knowledge growth.
