Job Description

We are seeking an Associate Architect with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM z/OS Connect Mainframe API CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions that enhance our mainframe capabilities.

Responsibilities

Design and implement mainframe solutions using IBM z/OS Connect and Mainframe API to optimize system performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol applications that meet business requirements.
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and recommend innovative solutions.
Ensure seamless integration of mainframe applications with other enterprise systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct thorough testing and validation of mainframe applications to ensure high-quality outcomes.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality.
Document technical specifications and project progress to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in solution design.
Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for mainframe architecture.
Support the Cards & Payments domain by leveraging domain knowledge to enhance solution effectiveness.
Work in a hybrid model balancing remote and on-site work to maximize productivity and collaboration.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in IBM z/OS Connect Mainframe API CICS VSAM JCL DB2 and Cobol.
Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing mainframe solutions that drive business success.
Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Have a good understanding of the Cards & Payments domain to enhance solution relevance.
Show strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Maintain a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of industry advancements.
