As a Senior Mainframe Developer at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful delivery of location strategy projects to ensure they meet plan, budget, quality, and governance standards. Your responsibilities will involve spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation, and excellence to revolutionize digital offerings for unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Utilize strong mainframe skills in Hogan, Cobol, JCL, and DB2 - Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with Jira - Demonstrate a strong knowledge of software development and testing procedures - Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with designing and developing test automation frameworks for debit card functionalities is a plus - Familiarity with quality engineering principles and building CI/CD and automation systems - Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies to recommend improvements in build and testing processes Your performance may be assessed based on key critical skills such as risk management, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology expertise relevant to the role.
