Senior Machine Learning Engineer

You will:

• Architect, deploy and maintain scalable optimization, AI and ML solutions to enable and improve the service of the fulfillment network, including optimal inventory management and reliable delivery service
• Implement robust end to end ML pipelines considering data preparation, training, validation, deployment, observability, and retraining.
• Ensure production reliability by establishing testing, monitoring, and effective documentation practices.
• Contribute to projects that measurably impact business goals, translating a business need to an actionable development plan and executing the plan successfully
• Work cross-functionally across Data Science, Engineering, Product, Planning and Operations to implement robust and integrated production processes and monitoring
• Contribute to deployment and software engineering best practices for the team and across the organization

You should have:

• A degree in a quantitative field like Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
• 5-8 years of industry experience in deploying optimization and/or machine learning models and developing practically efficient, automated solutions
• Experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining end-to-end data science production processes, including system design and architecture, deployment and monitoring
• Proficiency with Python and experience with cloud platforms, containerization and CI/CD. Experience with AWS and Snowflake preferred. Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation) is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical ideas to both technical and non technical audiences.
