Senior Logistics Executive (Sea Exports)

Role & responsibilities

• Handling Full Logistics across Multiple Factories & Ports to ensure efficient Execution of Orders.
• Key Responsible for Finalizing Ocean Freight with Shipping Lines, Freight Forwarders, ISO Tank Operators, for Exports From India and Cross Trade
• Finalizing Rates for Transportation and timely Placement of Containers
• Coordinate with CHA/Customs for Clearance Activities and issues related to Movement & Clearance of containers.
• Responsible for Day to Day Planning with Marketing & Supplier for Dispatch Planning.
• Appointment of Surveyors for Cargo inspection, Follow up for Results & Final Certificate
• Thorough Knowledge of Documentation and custom Clearance
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize the company's supply chain and reduce costs.
• Work close with other departments to ensure that logistics operations are integrated with other business functions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, suppliers and other logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing logistics operations, including hazardous material shipping regulations.
• Monitor and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations, with a focus on safety and compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Ocean Export Pricing for

  FCL

  to Worldwide Destinations & Operations
• Candidate would be required to work most efficiently in a highly competitive environment, and ensure adopting the best industry standards.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with ability to Build Strong Relationship with Partners & Team Members.
• Strong Analytical & Problem Solving Skills & Ability to Work Independently.
• Should be conversant with Custom, Excise and Regulation in the area of export clearances, liaison with DGFT, Banks, Customs, Central Excise, Export Promotion councils, Inspection Agencies, Embassies/ Consulates, CHAs, Shipping Companies, ECGC, Export Documentation and Clearances.

Location: Wagle Estate, Thane

Work schedule: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)
