I’m excited to announce that Fresh Magazine (from The Pioneer & India Food Network) is looking for a Senior Lifestyle Writer to join our editorial team in Mumbai immediately. This is a full-time, hybrid-role — and comes with plenty of food and travel woven into the work.A passion for food is non-negotiable. If you live to discover new flavours, write vivid stories, and dive deep into culture, we want you.What We’re Looking For:* 5–8+ years of experience in lifestyle journalism — preferably in food, travel, culture, or features.* A proven track record of published work in reputable magazines, digital publications, or newspapers.* Strong reporting skills and the ability to craft narrative-driven, engaging long-form and short-form stories.* A natural storyteller with a sharp editorial sense and the ability to find angles others miss.* The confidence to interview chefs, restaurateurs, artisans, and experts across the food and travel space.* Ability to work closely with editors, designers, and photographers to bring stories alive on both print and digital.* Strong research abilities and comfort with fact-checking, trend-spotting, and culture analysis.* Excellent command of written English with a distinctive voice and crisp clarity.* Ability to juggle multiple stories, meet deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced editorial environment.* Bonus: Experience covering the Indian food landscape, global culinary trends, or on-ground travel reportage.If this sounds like you — or someone you know — I’d love to connect.Please reach out with your CV + writing samples at raul@pingnetwork.in
