Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior PHP Laravel Developer located in Kochi. The Senior PHP Laravel Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, utilizing Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and integrating (or collaborating with front-end developers to integrate) user-facing elements. This is not a hybrid position. Local candidates who can work on site are prefered. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications and API for mobile apps. Troubleshoot, test, manage and maintain existing web systems and databases. Collaborate with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders. Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest improvements. Technical Skills 4+ years of experience in PHP 7+ and Object-Oriented Programming . Proficiency with frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter . Good knowledge of MySQL , PostgreSQL , and database optimization. Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) and Bootstrap. Experience with third-party APIs, integrations, and payment gateways is a plus. Experience in React.js is an added advantage. Experience integrating third-party APIs and services. Prior experience in mentoring or leading small teams.
