Job Description

Role Summary :

Job Title:

Working hours:

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based batch processing applications, with a focus on scalability and performance
Work on Apache Spark-based batch jobs and large-scale data processing pipelines
Write and optimize complex SQL queries, procedures, and database objects in Oracle
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions
Participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture discussions and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve application and performance issues efficiently
Prepare technical documentation and support production releases

Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of professional Java development experience, including backend system design and implementation
Strong experience in Oracle SQL and relational database concepts
Hands-on experience with batch processing systems
Exposure to or experience with Apache Spark is highly desirable
Familiarity with data pipelines, job scheduling tools (like Control-M, Autosys), and performance tuning
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders
