Job Description

Senior Software Developer (Java, Microservices & Azure Cloud)

We are hiring a [Senior Software Developer] with 69 years of experience to drive end-to-end software development for enterprise client projects. The ideal candidate shall excel in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, with proven expertise in cloud platforms (preferably Azure), DevOps practices, and modern software design concepts. This position demands strong technical delivery skills combined with excellent communication and teamwork to ensure successful client engagement.

Core Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Build and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.
Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, and cloud deployment.
Collaborate with clients and teams to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively.
Maintaining high standards in coding, design, and delivery.

Key Skills & Technologies

Core Java, Advanced Java (JDK 17+), Solid understanding of design patterns, OOP, and clean code principles
Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA
REST APIs, SOAP, Microservices, Hibernate, GraphQL
Event-driven programming - Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, Azure Event Hub
Databases: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (Cassandra, Cosmos DB) - query optimization and schema design
Cloud: Azure (preferred), AWS or GCP exposure
Cloud-native services (Functions, App Services, Storage, Messaging)
Deployment, scaling, and performance tuning on cloud
CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
Build Tools: Gradle, Maven
Authentication & Authorization: OAuth2, JWT, Single Sign-On, RBAC
Version Control & Collaboration: Git, GitHub
Containerization/Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (containerized microservices deployment in cloud environments)
Monitoring & Logging: ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
Application Performance Monitoring tools (AppDynamics, New Relic, AppInsights)
Infrastructure-as-Code basics (Terraform, ARM templates preferred)
Good to have - Testing Frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, JMeter, LoadRunner, RestAssured
