Senior Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer with 4-6 years of experience, you will be responsible for backend Java development, managing Java/Java EE application development, and providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle. You will play a key role in delivering high availability and performance, contributing to all phases of the Software development lifecycle, working on Java/Java EE application development, writing efficient and testable code, conducting software analysis, testing, and debugging, ensuring designs comply with specifications, preparing releases of software components, transforming requirements into stipulations, supporting continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, presenting for architectural review, preparing End User Documentation and Training, maintaining an active testing environment, optimizing code, and identifying programs that could enhance current systems. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or Electronics from a reputable institute, with a preference for post-graduation in a relevant area. You should have a strong background in Core Java, knowledge of JSP/Servlets, proficiency in Mark-up Languages like XML and JSON, experience with Web frameworks such as Struts/Spring, knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture/Web Services (SOAP/REST/API), proficiency in OOPS concepts, knowledge of databases like MySQL, hands-on experience in Hibernate or JPA, experience in J2EE application servers like Apache Tomcat, knowledge of jUnit test cases, and key traits such as analytical thinking, strong problem-solving aptitude, being a team player, and excellent communication skills. As the Manager (Information Systems and Security), you will undertake technical IT activities, provide regular status and service-level reports to management, and serve as the process manager of all assurance activities related to information security. You will need to be a critical thinker, a consensus builder, and an integrator of people and processes, coordinating various drivers, constraints, and personalities while maintaining objectivity and understanding overall organizational business objectives. This role will involve monitoring IT support, logistics, and security for on-premises and off-premises distributed and virtual workforce, with potential for more strategic responsibilities in the future. To be considered for this role, you should have a B. Tech/B. E. in Computer Science or IT from a reputable institute, with additional certifications in Information/Network security, Agile project management, Lean-IT, etc., preferred. You should have 11-14 years of experience in IT Systems and Security functions, exposure to cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for servers and storage, and certification in ITIL4 is desired.
