Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing high volume, high performance, stable, and scalable systems using Java 17 or other JVM languages. Your role will involve building and operating subscription-based services and implementing alerting, metrics, and logging solutions. Additionally, you will work on asynchronous messaging frameworks, distributed systems challenges, and micro-service-based architectures. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your at least 4 years of software development experience to build systems that meet customer requirements - Apply your 1-2 years of Kubernetes and AWS experience to ensure system scalability - Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Github Action - Work on asynchronous messaging frameworks like Kafka and distributed systems challenges - Develop alerting, metrics, and logging solutions using tools such as Prometheus, CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or Kibana - Design API contracts before starting development using contract-first development model - Implement persistence and caching solutions like Mysql, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, or Caffeine - Optimize database queries for optimal performance and model databases effectively - Use asynchronous, non-blocking, functional/reactive style of programming with frameworks like Spring WebFlux, Vert.x Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Java 17 or other JVM languages - At least 1-2 years of Kubernetes and AWS experience - Good understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Github Action - Knowledge of asynchronous messaging frameworks like Kafka - Experience with alerting, metrics, and logging tools such as Prometheus, CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, or Kibana - Practical knowledge of contract-first development model - Familiarity with persistence and caching solutions like Mysql, PostgreSQL, Redis, ElasticSearch, Caffeine - Understanding of database modeling and optimization of database queries - Experience with asynchronous, non-blocking, functional/reactive style of programming using frameworks like Spring WebFlux, Vert.x Additional Details: The company values clear and effective communication, proactive collaboration, ownership of software quality and project outcomes, openness to new ideas, and quick implementation of innovative practices.
