Senior IT Support Technician

Role Overview: As a Senior IT Support Technician at ABC Fitness, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional desktop and service desk support to ensure efficient operations, maintain high service quality, and foster a collaborative environment. You will work from the local Hyderabad office 2-3 times a week, providing in-person support during business hours and occasionally outside of normal hours as needed. Key Responsibilities: - Provide customer-focused support by troubleshooting technical issues, managing support tickets, and escalating to Lead Tech or other teams as necessary - Collaborate with internal teams to address technical requirements and solve service desk-related issues - Monitor system performance, report issues, and ensure adherence to security processes and policies - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within system guidelines - Serve as the first point of contact for employees needing desktop support, handling hardware and software installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting - Maintain the inventory of IT assets and supplies, providing updates to Lead Tech as required - Assist with hosting new IT Orientation sessions Qualifications Required: - Must be able to work from the Hyderabad office 2-3 times a week - 5+ years of prior technical support experience - Strong analytical and troubleshooting/problem-solving skills - Detail-oriented and self-starter - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge and experience with Mac and PC hardware and setup - Ability to service and troubleshoot all aspects of PC hardware and software - Understanding of managed networks, network storage devices, internet service providers, and IT security and compliance - Flexibility/adaptability, ability to manage customer expectations - Standard business hours aligned with the local time zone, with occasional requirements to support projects outside of normal hours Additional Details: ABC Fitness is a purpose-led company with a values-focused culture.
