Our Client was founded by 3 IIMers in the year 2000. Client is an electronic presentment technology and payment services company. The Company is focused on leveraging technology to enable banks, businesses and other institutions to present invoices, statements and bills to
consumers or businesses and receive payments against them. Their Product powers electronic payments and collections services for the largest banks and companies in India and also manages the bill payment service of Visa in India. It operates as a neutral service bureau aggregating multiple banks, billing companies and other corporations onto a common standards-based platform for delivering electronic payments and collection services across multiple electronic channels. Their Product manages these services across a range of access channels viz. Internet Banking, ATM Banking, Tele Banking, Mobile Banking etc. The Payment Gateway services of our Client enable customers to pay online using either their electronic banking accounts or credit cards.

Reporting To: Head of IT Infra Team Size: ~15 (Infra, Network, Security, Support & Cloud Ops) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to lead, scale, and secure the technology backbone of our fast-growing fintech organization of around 1000 employees. The role requires a seasoned leader who can oversee infrastructure operations, information security, compliance, audits, cloud & on-premise systems, data governance, and networking, while enabling business agility, resilience, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities 1. Infrastructure & Operations Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network, cloud, endpoints). Manage hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem), including Linux/Unix and Windows servers. Ensure 24x7 availability, scalability, and performance of production systems. Reporting for availability, scalability, capacity planning. Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management. Capacity planning, cost optimisation, vendor & AMC management. 2. Compliance Ensure compliance with RBI, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR (if applicable). Closure of VAPT data points with respect to infrastructure Ensure Patch management of the infrastructure. Manage disaster recovery drills. Implementation of new guidelines as released by the regulator. 3. Networking & Connectivity Manage enterprise-wide LAN/WAN, VPNs, SD-WAN, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers. Ensure high availability, performance tuning, and monitoring of connectivity across branches, data centers, and cloud platforms. Define network segmentation, zero-trust frameworks, and security zoning. 4. Cloud & On Premise Platform Management Drive cloud strategy (AWS/Azure/GCP), ensuring cost efficiency and resilience. Oversee containerization, Kubernetes clusters, and DevOps pipelines (in collaboration with engineering). Define backup, DR, and BCP solutions across cloud/on-prem workloads. Backup, restoration and reporting of vm s, databases. 5. Governance, Risk & Audits Prepare and lead internal & external audits (ISO, RBI, PCI-DSS, SOC2). Implement IT GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) processes. Track audit remediation, and continuous improvements in infrastructure. 6. Team Leadership Lead and mentor teams across IT Ops, Networking, Security, Support & Admin. Build a culture of accountability, innovation, and service excellence. Develop training programs for infra/security awareness across employees. Key Requirements Education & Certifications Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field. Preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Cloud Architect, ITIL, ISO 27001 LA. Experience 12 18 years of IT Infrastructure experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record in fintech, BFSI, or other regulated industries. Strong expertise in: Linux/Unix, Windows Servers, Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) Networking (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper) Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) Security tools (SIEM, DLP, IAM, Endpoint Protection, SOC Ops) Database infrastructure (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, NoSQL) ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy) Skills Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor negotiation. Excellent knowledge of IT governance frameworks . Ability to balance cost optimisation with performance/security. Strong problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making.
