About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Administrator/Manager to join our dynamic IT
team at the Bangalore office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a
strong background in network and systems administration, infrastructure management,
cybersecurity, and end-user support. The successful candidate will play a key role in
maintaining our IT infrastructure, supporting internal users, managing cloud and on-prem
systems and ensuring the security and efficiency of IT operations.

Job Summary

The Senior IT Administrator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and
maintenance of the organization s IT systems and infrastructure. The role includes
configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting issues, managing IT assets, monitoring
network performance, ensuring data security, and mentoring junior IT staff.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows/Linux), including cloud-based
  environments (Azure, AWS).
  


• Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and Office 365 services.


• Monitor network performance, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure optimal uptime and
  security.
  


• Perform system upgrades, patch management, and regular backups.


• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for IT incidents, escalating issues where needed.


• Manage endpoint security, antivirus, and data loss prevention (DLP) tools.


• Maintain and document IT processes, inventory, and configuration standards.


• Support collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other unified
  communications platforms.
  


• Lead IT onboarding/offboarding processes, access controls, and account
  provisioning.
  


• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and maintain SLAs.


• Train and guide junior IT support staff.


• Participate in IT audits and compliance activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.


• 5+ years of proven experience in IT systems/network administration.


• Industry certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA/CCNP), or
  CompTIA (Network+/Security+).
  

Technical Skills

• Proficient in managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.


• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred; AWS is a plus).


• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).


• Experience with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.


• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation.


• Expertise in firewall, antivirus, backup, and disaster recovery systems.


• Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools like Intune or SCCM.

Soft Skills

• Knowledge of automation and scripting for system efficiency.


• Exposure to tools like Zoho People, Zoho Recruit, or similar HR platforms.
