Senior International Tax Advisor

As part of EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) in Hungary, you will have the opportunity to support the UAE-based International Tax practice focusing on International Tax and Transaction Services. Your role will involve proactively staying updated on global developments in the international tax landscape to provide valuable advice to clients. You will also be responsible for mastering various areas of direct taxation, collaborating with other service providers and key stakeholders, and contributing to go-to-market activities and internal trainings. EY GDS will invest in your training and offer challenging projects to help you advance your tax career effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support in the set-up and/or re-organization of tax structures in the UAE or broader MENA region - Contribute to group structure reorganization and/or rationalization projects - Review operating models and agreements from a tax perspective for different industries - Assess Agency Permanent Establishment risks - Evaluate holding structure, capital structure, and financing arrangements - Develop tax risk management guidelines and review governance structures from a tax standpoint Your contributions to various projects will play a vital role in assisting clients with their international tax strategies, ensuring technical excellence, and delivering top-notch client service consistently. **Qualifications and Experience:** - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of relevant international tax/direct tax advisory experience **Additional Skills and Attributes for Success:** - Experience in European, UK, or Middle Eastern (UAE) tax markets is advantageous - Strong organizational, project delivery, analytical, and communication skills - Proven track record with a reputable professional services firm - In-depth understanding of current international tax developments At EY GDS, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive work environment, working with multicultural teams.
