A Senior Interior Designer manages and leads the full interior design process, from client consultation and concept development to technical drawings and project completion, for both commercial and residential spaces. Key responsibilities include developing design concepts, creating aesthetic and functional spaces, selecting furnishings, materials, and finishes, supervising junior designers, and coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Strong leadership, project management, technical design skills, and proficiency in design software like AutoCAD and Revit are essential for this role. Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Project Management: Meet with clients to understand their needs, develop design concepts, and oversee projects from initial concept to final completion. Design Development: Create functional, aesthetically pleasing, and safe designs for various spaces, incorporating innovative ideas and staying updated on trends. Technical Documentation: Produce drawings, presentations, and technical specifications using design software. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, coordinate with design teams, and delegate tasks effectively. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. Budgeting & Timelines: Develop project budgets, create cost estimates, and ensure projects are completed within the given timeframes and financial resources. Client Communication: Excellent skills in communicating design ideas, managing client relationships, and presenting concepts confidently.
