Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Lead to build, execute, and optimize our inside sales function. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of personal success in inside sales, specifically within the B2B software or SaaS industry. You will be responsible for qualifying inbound marketing leads, driving strategic outbound prospecting, and working closely with the marketing and field sales teams to accelerate the sales pipeline. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role that requires a strategic mindset, strong execution skills, and a deep understanding of how to sell complex software solutions to a business audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Own the lead qualification funnel. Develop and manage the process for qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and nurture early-stage prospects.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Design and execute strategic outbound prospecting campaigns (e.g., cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn) to generate a steady stream of high-quality meetings for the sales team.
  • Sales Process & Cadence: Build, test, and optimize sales playbooks, scripts, and multi-channel outreach cadences to improve personal conversion rates.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Serve as the key inside sales liaison for the marketing and field sales teams. Ensure a smooth lead handoff and provide a constant feedback loop on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • CRM & Tool Management: Manage and optimize our CRM system to ensure accurate lead tracking, activity logging, and pipeline reporting.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Define, monitor, and report on key inside sales KPIs (e.g., SQLs, conversion rates, meetings booked, pipeline generated). Use data to analyze personal performance, provide insights, and optimize sales strategies.
