Skills Needed:

Primary Responsibilities:

- Infrastructure as Code development (Terraform/Cloud Formation)

- Security implementation - network segmentation, monitoring, compliance

- Automation scripts and configuration management

- CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment

- Security monitoring and incident response procedures

Secondary Responsibilities:

- AWS compute services configuration and optimization

- Network troubleshooting and performance tuning

- Backup and disaster recovery procedures

- Documentation and run book creation

Required Skills:

- 6+ years in infrastructure engineering with strong DevOps background

- Expert-level Terraform, Cloud Formation, or AWS CDK

- Strong security engineering and compliance knowledge

- Advanced scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

- Proven experience with configuration management

- Solid understanding of networking and compute services

Must-Have Certifications:

- AWS DevOps Professional OR AWS Security Specialty

- Additional security certifications (CISSP, CCSP) preferred

Critical Success Factors:

- Ability to rapidly automate complex infrastructure tasks

- Strong security mindset with practical implementation skills

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
