Job Summary

Informatica BDM Developer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain

    ETL/ELT workflows

    using Informatica BDM
  • Integrate data from multiple

    structured and unstructured data sources

  • Build and optimize data pipelines for

    performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Work with

    Hadoop ecosystems

    (HDFS, Hive, Spark) or

    cloud platforms

    (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Perform

    data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks

  • Prepare and maintain

    technical documentation

  • Support deployments, monitor workflows, and troubleshoot

    production issues

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and downstream consumers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience with

    Informatica BDM / PowerCenter / IICS

  • Strong understanding of

    ETL concepts, data warehousing, and SQL

  • Experience working with

    big data platforms or cloud-based data services

  • Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have

  • Scripting experience in

    Python or Scala

  • Knowledge of

    Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)

    or

    Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC)

  • Exposure to

    MDM, Data Governance, Agile, or DevOps practices

  • Experience supporting data lake or enterprise analytics platforms

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in

    Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Informatica or Cloud certifications

    are a plus
