Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech

We are seeking an experienced Senior HMI Engineer with expertise in UI/UX to join our dynamic engineering team.

Role & responsibilities

• Designs and develop the HMI/user interface of in-vehicle systems, such as the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and heads-up displays.
• Work closely with Systems, Application and Graphics designer.
• Developing user interface components and implementing them by following well-known workflows and practices.
• Communicating with product and engineering leads/customer/suppliers to implement business and project objectives.
• Code review of team members' commits as part of CI/CD cycle.
• Participate in testing, quality assurance and bug fixes as part of the CI/CD cycle.

Desired Functional Skills:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in computer science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience.
• Designs and develops the HMI/User Interface of in-vehicle systems, such as the instrument cluster, infotainment system, and heads-up displays. This involves creating user interfaces, graphical elements, and ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience.
• Work with various software and hardware layers, including operating systems like QNX, Linux, and Android, and utilize graphics APIs like OpenGL and Vulkan.
• Work closely with Systems, Application and Graphics designer.
• Working experience in any of these tools Kanzi, QT, Flint IDE, Altia, Figma.
• Expertise in Digital Cluster
• SW development life cycle.
• UI/UX Design Principles: Ability to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
• Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git or any other tool for source code management.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to lead development teams and mentor junior developers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
