The Monitoring Solutions team is seeking a skilled and motivated Hardware System Engineer to lead hardware design, development, and system-level integration across the product lifecycle from requirements definition to testing and reliability validation.
This role is grounded in systems engineering, a cross-functional discipline focused on aligning business and technical needs to deliver high-quality products. It involves a structured process of identifying system requirements, exploring design alternatives, selecting optimal solutions, and verifying integration from concept through production to operation. As a Hardware System Engineer, you will collaborate across teams to ensure hardware solutions meet performance, compliance, and reliability standards while supporting strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to hardware design and development for embedded systems and electronic products.
- Manage product lifecycle activities, including design reviews, documentation, and change management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure PWA (Printed Wiring Assembly) process compliance and quality.
- Perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation of hardware systems.
- Define product requirements, develop test plans, and execute validation procedures.
- Ensure products meet EMC/EMI compliance standards; hands-on testing experience is a plus.
- Conduct BOM assessments, manage EOL (End-of-Life) components, and support part selection.
- Apply DFMEA/MFMEA methodologies to identify and mitigate design and manufacturing risks.
- Support and optimize manufacturing processes for scalability and efficiency.
- Drive hardware-software integration at the system level, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Manage ECR (Engineering Change Request) processes and documentation.
- Develop and execute reliability plans and testing to ensure long-term product performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or master s degree in electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in hardware design, development, and debugging.
- Strong understanding of compliance standards and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with DFMEA/MFMEA, ECR, and reliability testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Ability to document, plan, and execute programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with EMC/EMI testing.
- Familiarity with PLM tools and change management systems.
- Experience in embedded systems and firmware-hardware co-design.

- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving
- Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones.
- Identify continuous improvement activities by initiating the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives
