Job Description

As a

Senior Back-End Engineer

, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and reusable technology components. You ll contribute to building scalable and high-performance systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical features and enhancements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with
development team leads
on assigned technical deliverables.
Design, develop, and enhance
backend systems
with high reliability and performance.
Build
reusable libraries and frameworks
to support multiple use cases.
Troubleshoot production issues and support live systems when required.
Demonstrate ownership, effective communication, and self-motivation in a dynamic environment.
Explore and adopt
new technologies and tools
to improve development efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:

7+ years
of professional
software development experience
.
Strong hands-on experience in
Golang (Go)
.
Good understanding of
software design principles
and design patterns.
Solid knowledge of
Linux OS internals
memory management, filesystem, system daemons, and instruction processing.
Proficiency with
Linux command line
and
shell scripting
.
Experience with
web servers
(Nginx, Apache),
proxy servers
, and
load balancing
.
Understanding of
microservices
and
service-based architecture
.
Familiarity with
AV codecs
,
MPEG-TS
, and adaptive streaming technologies like
HLS
and
DASH
.
Good understanding of
computer networking concepts
.
Experience working with
relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
.
Strong
debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
.
Hands-on experience with
Git or other version control systems
.

Good-to-Have Skills:

Working knowledge of
Core Java
or
Python
.
Exposure to
cloud computing environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with
API or video streaming performance testing
.
Familiarity with
Elasticsearch and Kibana (ELK Stack)
.
Experience in
front-end frameworks
such as
React.js
(optional).
Experience with
messaging systems
such as
RabbitMQ
.
