Job Description

7+ years of Software development experience Good Go implementation capabilities
Understanding of different design principles
Good understanding of Linux OS - memory, instruction processing, filesystem, system daemons etc
Fluent with linux command line and shell scripting
Working knowledge of servers (nginx, apache, etc), proxy-servers, and load balancing
Understanding of service based architecture and microservices
Working knowledge of AV codecs, MpegTS and adaptive streaming like Dash, HLS
Good understanding of computer networking concepts
Working knowledge of relational Databases

Knowledge of git or any other source code management
Good to Have Skills: Working knowledge of Core Java and Python are preferred
Exposure to cloud computing is preferred
Exposure to API or video streaming performance testing is preferred
Preferred experience in Elasticsearch and Kibana (ELK Stack) Proficiency in at least one modern web front-end development framework such as React JS will be a bonus Preferred experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ
