We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PERN Stack GIS Developer with 4 8 years of professional experience to join our geospatial development team. You ll be working on web applications that integrate geospatial data, modern mapping tools, and scalable backend services. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in full-stack development and a keen interest in GIS technologies and interactive maps.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain full-stack GIS web applications using PostgreSQL, Express. js, React. js, and Node. js.
Work with PostGIS to store, query, and manipulate spatial data.
Ingest and process various spatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, WMS/WFS).
Solid understanding of GIS principles, geospatial data formats (GeoJSON, shapefiles, raster), and coordinate systems
Debug, test, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Experience with GIS servers like GeoServer, MapServer, or QGIS Server.
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
