"Job Title: Senior Functional Consultant (Commerce & Marketing) Location: Chennai, India Contract Type: Freelance or Contractor (6 months, extendable)Embark on a transformative journey in a strategic, high-impact role where your expertise in commerce, marketing, and data-driven solutions will be pivotal in crafting future-ready systems If youre poised to influence large-scale architecture, drive meaningful transformation, and lead teams to success, this opportunity is tailored for you Key Responsibilities Spearhead the development and ongoing enhancement of functional and technical designs to ensure high-quality, high-performance service delivery Lead and guide internal teams and external vendors, ensuring project outcomes meet technical standards and align with business objectives Formulate logical design strategies and spearhead information management initiatives across globally integrated systems Serve as a key knowledge custodian, managing solution documentation and facilitating seamless onboarding for external consultants Propel data integration and enterprise information management by refining processes and enhancing reusability Architect future-state data models and provide guidance on enterprise-level best practices Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure development aligns with organizational strategy and priorities Identify capability gaps and offer actionable insights to boost IT and business performance Oversee technical design activities, ensuring full traceability and architectural alignment Mentor junior consultants and internal team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration Professional Background 5 to 8 years of experience in architecture, technical design, and project leadership, preferably within FMCG or global enterprises Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder IT projects, including vendors and system integrators Strong grasp of ERP systems, particularly SAP S/4 HANA, with a focus on commerce, marketing, and order-to-cash processes Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable and strategic IT solutions Technical Skills Mastery of data modeling techniques: conceptual, logical, and physical Extensive knowledge of information architecture standards and application frameworks Proficiency in Unified Modeling Language (UML), process flow design, and enterprise data strategies Experience in designing and refining functional and non-functional requirements Analytical mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills to tackle technical challenges Proficient in stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration What We Offer Competitive freelance rate of $20-25 USD per hour Contract salary ranging from 2 08 to 2 50 lakhs per month Flexible work options with freelance or fixed-term contract opportunities Global collaboration with a dynamic and experienced team of professionals Opportunities to innovate and shape the future of enterprise architecture Freedom to work in a hybrid or remote setting, depending on project needs A supportive environment that values mentoring, growth, and impactful contributionsAre you ready to grow with us?
