Role & responsibilities:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll work closely with Product and Design teams to ship great things to our customers and collaborate with other engineers to deliver on technical initiatives that make us faster, safer, and happier. Youll have an opportunity to shape the evolution of our reusable component libraries and work with other talented engineers on challenging but rewarding projects. Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy software applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Debug and troubleshoot software issues and implement effective solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies. Contribute to the documentation of software components and processes. Assist in the planning and estimation of project tasks. Work with engineering stakeholders to evolve Platform tooling to improve efficiency across teams Evangelize the work of the Platform team and support other teams as they adopt and integrate common tools, services, and libraries. Preferred candidate profile 5+ years working in large products and complex domains; SaaS or enterprise-level products is required. Extensive experience with React with Typescript. Working knowledge of responsive web applications. Advocate for best practices and have a keen eye for things that can be consolidated. Ability to weigh in on technical design docs and make data-based decisions. Good experience with the software development lifecycle & understanding of software design / Architecture. Experience with reusable component libraries. Curious and driven to make things better. Experience with Angular and AngularJS is a plus. We're working to move away from these but still have some legacy services. Experiences with Web Components is a plus. Experience with micro frontends and Single-Spa.js is a plus.
