Senior Frontend Engineer

As a React Developer, you will be responsible for developing new web applications or migrating existing ones to modern JavaScript front-end technology stacks like React, TypeScript, and their ecosystems. You will design, document, develop, and test reusable standard components and front-end libraries, ensuring high-quality, testable code. Collaborating with product owners and stakeholders, you will translate requirements into efficient code and optimize components for optimal performance across various devices and browsers. You will conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to team members, and work together to implement innovative solutions for software development, visuals, and user experience. Staying updated with industry trends and technologies is essential, along with assisting in developing collaterals for clients and internal stakeholders. Key Technical/Functional Competencies: - Minimum 7 years of React Developer experience with a successful project portfolio. - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and the Node ecosystem. - Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or MobX. - Strong understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3. - Advanced knowledge of API development and integration, including modern authorization mechanisms. - Experience with RESTful APIs, Open API, GraphQL, build tools like Webpack, and testing frameworks such as Jest or React Testing Library. - Proficiency in version control systems like Git, basic CI/CD tools, and SCRUM. - Exposure to server-side technologies like Java, containerization, deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Desired Personal & Technical Traits: - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. - Work experience: 7 - 8 years. - Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Job Location: Kolkata, West Bengal.
