Senior Frontend Developer

As a Front-End Web Developer, you will be responsible for translating UI/UX design wireframes into code to create visual elements for applications. You will collaborate with the UI/UX designer to ensure a seamless integration of design and technical implementation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and implementing low-latency, highly available, and performing applications that can scale for millions of users. - Applying creative problem-solving skills to develop new features and enhance existing ones. - Writing tested and documented code in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. - Making design and technical decisions for React.js projects. - Developing application code, conducting unit tests, and increasing test coverage through unit and integration tests. - Helping define architectures and design patterns. - Actively participating in PR reviews on GitHub. - Contributing to Agile sprints and collaborating closely with product, QA, and UX teams to deliver optimal solutions for consumers. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in Object-Oriented JavaScript and jQuery. - Strong understanding of web markup languages like HTML5 and CSS3. - Basic knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS. - Familiarity with advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, particularly ReactJS. - Good grasp of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX. - Proficient in code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or SVN. - Understanding of SEO principles and ability to ensure application compliance. - Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions. - Experience with rendering techniques and writing high-performing code. - A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
