Job Description

As a Senior Front-end Engineer at Qualys, you will be responsible for creating modern, intuitive, data-driven, progressive webapps and mobile apps for multiple SaaS products. Your passion for front-end technologies will be crucial in defining the customer experience. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a UX/UI designer and other front-end and middle-tier engineers to lead, design, prototype, and build technical projects and initiatives across the organization. - Hands-on development of proof of concepts and evaluation of new technologies. - Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to drive technical innovations. - Champion best practices and innovative techniques for scalability, reliability, and performance optimizations. - Ensure customer delight by collaborating closely with Product Managers and the Engineering team to understand the product, new requirements, and workflows to deliver a seamless customer experience. Qualifications: - 5+ years of front-end development experience. - Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including a deep knowledge of the browser DOM. - Proficiency in JavaScript, with expertise in lexical scoping, closures, and OO JavaScript. Experience with frameworks such as ReactJS. - Proven track record in designing, building, improving, and operating high-performance, scalable front-end systems. - Extensive experience with client-side technologies and modern frameworks like JavaScript, Typescript, and React. - Skilled in building Responsive UI and proficient in debugging and testing tools for UI optimization. - Knowledge of accessibility, 508 compliance, and front-end security best practices (XSS, CSRF, etc.). - Experience in building Progressive Web Apps and familiarity with modern coding and design practices (Clean Code, SOLID principles, TDD). - Understanding of back-end technologies and their integration with front-end systems.,
