Senior Front-End Engineer

As a Front-End Engineer at Prudential, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering front-end applications using cutting-edge technologies. Your role will involve ensuring flawless user interfaces through best practices in code quality, testing, and automation. Your strong communication and documentation skills will be essential for effective teamwork. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and deliver front-end applications using modern technologies. - Ensure flawless user interfaces through best practices in code quality, testing, and automation. - Focus on robust regression testing and continuously strive for quality improvements. - Collaborate within a dynamic team in a start-up-like environment. - Actively engage in the Community of Practice for knowledge sharing and collaboration. - Contribute to the inner sourcing culture to promote code reuse and overall code quality. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in modern front-end web applications. - Expertise in Flutter web and mobile development. - Extensive experience in mobile app development for iOS, Android, and Cross-Platform frameworks. - Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Strong background in Backend development with Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and PostgreSQL. - Deep understanding of responsive web design, performance optimization, and accessibility standards. - Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks like Jest, Vitest, Playwright, and Cypress. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Experience in implementing behavioral analytics tools like Mixpanel (preferred). - Leadership or project management experience is a plus. - Knowledge of the finance or insurance industry is advantageous. - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience. **Additional Company Details:** The purpose of Prudential is to be partners for every life and protectors for every future.
