Role Overview: As a Senior Financial Analyst at NTT DATA, you will be an advanced subject matter expert responsible for gathering and analyzing complex financial data to facilitate decision-making and provide guidance to relevant business stakeholders. Your role involves making financial recommendations based on the data gathered, including analyzing past company performance, cost management, and presenting findings to internal stakeholders. You will play a crucial role in ensuring budget adherence, expense analysis, and identifying cost management opportunities for improved profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Extract data from financial reports for financial and statistical analysis, identifying discrepancies and recommending solutions. - Monitor and control expenditure by approving or denying requisitions based on budget compliance. - Prepare various financial reports based on analysis results and conduct presentations to internal stakeholders. - Research and analyze costs of projects, departments, and future ventures to provide insights on expenses and profitability margins. - Conduct budget and expense analysis, report variances, and assist in cost reduction initiatives. - Reconcile and review monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts. - Analyze budget and forecast variances, provide recommendations for performance improvement, and contribute to the annual budgeting process. - Perform key analysis on areas of risk or opportunity, communicate financial levers to the business, and recommend strategies accordingly. - Review business initiatives for profitability expectations and identify cost management opportunities for sustainable returns. - Undertake any other relevant tasks assigned by the management team. Qualifications and Attributes: - Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, maintain high-quality work, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. - Display excellent planning, organizing ability, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced environment. - Possess advanced analytical skills, understand underlying business drivers, and provide actionable insights based on analysis. - Have a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, statistics, or a related field; relevant financial analysis certifications are preferred. - Require advanced experience in a similar financial analyst position, proficiency in accounting software, and extensive finance experience in a company with international operations.
