Job Description

As a Senior Financial Analyst at NTT DATA, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for gathering and analyzing complex financial data to provide valuable insights for decision-making processes. Your role involves making financial recommendations based on thorough data analysis to guide relevant business stakeholders effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Extract data from financial reports to conduct comprehensive financial and statistical analysis, identifying discrepancies and proposing suitable solutions. - Contribute to monitoring and controlling expenditure by approving or denying requisitions based on budget compliance. - Prepare a variety of financial reports based on analysis results and present findings along with recommendations to internal stakeholders. - Research and analyze costs of projects, departments, and future ventures to offer insights on expenses and determine profitability margins. - Conduct budget and expense analysis, reporting on variances to ensure adherence to projected budgets and support cost reduction initiatives. - Reconcile and review monthly account analysis for balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Analyze budget and forecast variances, providing recommendations to enhance company performance. - Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process and perform key analysis on areas of risk or opportunity within the business. - Continuously review business initiatives to ensure profitability expectations are met and identify cost management opportunities for sustainable returns. - Undertake any other relevant tasks as assigned by the management team. Knowledge and Attributes: - Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and maintain high-quality work standards. - Possess strong verbal and written communication skills. - Exhibit excellent planning and organizing abilities, meeting deadlines and coping with stressful situations effectively. - Capable of interacting with individuals at all levels within the organization. - Take initiative and adopt a solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. - Proactive with the ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment. - Advanced analytical skills to understand business drivers and provide actionable insights. - Proficient in international finance, foreign currency, and inter-company transactions. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business management, statistics, or a related field is preferred. - Relevant financial analysis certification(s) is an advantage. Required Experience: - Advanced experience in a similar financial analysis position within a related environment. - Proficiency in working with accounting software. - Extensive experience in finance within a company with international operations.
