Role & responsibilities

End-to-End Solution Design (Primary)

• Analyze complex business and financial requirements and translate them into SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solutions
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops, gap analysis, and solution proposals
• Design end-to-end finance processes covering Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Asset Accounting
• Provide solution options considering Public Cloud limitations, integrations, and extensibility
• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and leadership

SAP FICO Functional Leadership

• Configure and support:
• General Ledger (Universal Journal, Document Splitting)
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Asset Accounting
• Bank Accounting & Cash Management
• Cost Center & Profit Center Accounting
• Margin Analysis (COPA)
• Handle complex scenarios such as:
• Multi-company, multi-currency, and intercompany transactions
• Revenue recognition and accruals
• Parallel accounting and ledger setup
• Tax, compliance, and statutory reporting
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Ensure audit, control, and compliance requirements are met

RICEFW / Public Cloud Extensibility

• Design and govern RICEFW objects within Public Cloud scope:
• Reports – Custom Analytical Queries, CDS Views
• Interfaces – APIs, Integration Suite (CPI), middleware
• Conversions – Migration Cockpit and data validation
• Enhancements – In-App Extensibility, BAdIs, Key User Extensions
• Forms – Adobe Forms
• Workflows – Flexible Workflow
• Ensure Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, and upgrade-safe designs
• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with business needs

ABAP – Technical Oversight

• Provide functional guidance for ABAP developments
• Debug ABAP programs, enhancements, CDS views, and OData services
• Validate technical solutions for performance, scalability, and compliance
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation

BASIS / Cloud Operations Knowledge

• Working understanding of SAP BASIS in S/4HANA Public Cloud
• Support and coordinate:
• User administration, roles, and authorizations
• Job monitoring, dumps, and application logs
• Transport management and release cycles
• Cutover and go-live readiness
• Liaise with SAP RISE operations teams for system availability and incidents

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO on S/4HANA
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (RISE)
• Ability to understand complex business scenarios and provide holistic solutions
• Solid understanding of RICEFW objects and Public Cloud extensibility
• Working knowledge of ABAP debugging and enhancements
• Basic to intermediate SAP BASIS knowledge
• Strong stakeholder communication and solution-design skills

Good to Have

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
• Exposure to SAP Security, GRC, and audit controls
• Prior experience in finance transformation or cloud migration projects

Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition (Finance)
• SAP Activate / Implementation certification
• SAP ABAP or SAP Technology (BASIS) certification
