You will be joining HouseEazy, a fast-growing PropTech startup that is revolutionizing the real estate industry with cutting-edge technology solutions. Your role will involve acting as a strategic financial advisor to the leadership team, providing valuable insights to drive key business decisions. You will collaborate with various teams to align financial strategies with business objectives and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. It will be your responsibility to establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the company's financial health. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting internal and statutory audits, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Analyzing and reviewing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements for financial accuracy will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies. Collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors to minimize financial risks will also be a key aspect of your role. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in real estate, PropTech, or a high-growth startup. - Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and taxation. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments. - Proven ability to lead and mentor a finance team.
