Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1) Routing OSPF, BGP, MPLS Implementation and trouble shoot

2) Switching - all layer-2 Switching protocols - Implementation and trouble shoot

3) VPN - L2vpn, L3VPN, VPLS, L2tp IPSEC and SSL - Implementation and trouble shoot

4) Security:- knowledge of Firewall of any Vendor, ACL - Implementation and trouble shoot

5) SD-WAN technology ( Basic/experience) - Implementation and trouble shoot

6) Knowledge about all TCP/UDP protocol suites - Implementation and trouble shoot

7) Multicasting - Implementation and trouble shoot

8) Experience in CISCO and HUAWEI router and Switches

9) Peering and CDN Cache server implementation - Implementation and trouble shoot

Preferred candidate profile

a) Troubleshooting problems pertaining to Performance Tuning, Network Management on routing and switching , traffic control & LAN/WAN protocol management.

b) BGP peering establishment with upstream provider and traffic management.

c) Traffic balancing between multi home BGP peering links by advertising prefixes accordingly. (Optional)

d) Route optimisation in case any latency to internet as per customer requirements. (Optional)

e) Load balancing OSPF traffic in between Backbone links.

f) L2vpn circuit configuration and troubleshooting.
