Role & responsibilities Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and company standards. Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections of the facility, machinery, and processes. Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs for employees and contractors. Investigate incidents/accidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain documentation related to EHS audits, inspections, permits, and statutory compliances. Coordinate with government bodies and external auditors for approvals, inspections, and reporting. Monitor and report on key EHS KPIs (e.g., near misses, LTIs, incident rates). Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the plant workforce. Conduct mock drills (fire, chemical spill, etc.) and facilitate emergency preparedness plans. Preferred candidate profile BSC/ BE + ADIS/ PDIS
