Job Description

Job Purpose

Senior Executive (Procurement)

Key Responsibilities

Receive and process daily purchase requests from hospitals and ensure approvals.
Review & update Indent / PO status, prepare technical & cost comparative statements.
Verify purchase orders and ensure received items match specifications.
Follow-up with vendors for timely delivery and manage supplier performance.
Maintain and update approved supplier lists with evaluations and analysis.
Implement procurement policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
Handle liquidation/vendor returns of non-moving stock.
Prepare monthly procurement reports and ensure cost optimization.
Resolve discrepancies in invoices, claims for damaged materials, and delays.
Any other tasks as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Education:
Graduate, preferably MBA in Supply Chain Management
Experience:
45 years in hospital procurement (Lab Consumables / Medical & Surgical Consumables & Implants)
Technical Skills:
Strong negotiation, analytical, MS Excel & PowerPoint expertise
Behavioural Skills:

Excellent interpersonal & conflict management skills
Collaborative team player
Strong verbal & written communication (English & Hindi)
