Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and Procurement: Assist in the comprehensive sourcing and procurement of all necessary construction materials, equipment, and services for various ongoing and upcoming projects. Supplier Identification & Negotiation: Proactively identify and rigorously evaluate potential suppliers, meticulously obtain competitive price quotations, and skillfully negotiate favorable terms and conditions to achieve significant cost savings without compromising quality. Order Processing & Logistics: Efficiently process purchase orders, diligently track deliveries, and ensure the timely and accurate receipt of all materials and equipment at designated construction sites. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely and effectively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to thoroughly understand project requirements, specifications, and critical deadlines. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels meticulously and proactively manage stock levels to ensure a continuous and sufficient supply of materials for all ongoing projects, minimizing disruptions. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new, innovative suppliers, cutting-edge products, and untapped cost-saving opportunities within the construction supply chain. Supplier Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with existing suppliers, regularly evaluating their performance based on stringent criteria including quality, on-time delivery, and cost-effectiveness. Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and meticulously analyze comprehensive procurement reports, encompassing detailed cost comparisons, key supplier performance metrics, and precise budget tracking to inform strategic decisions. Strategy Development Support: Actively assist in the development and seamless implementation of strategic procurement initiatives aimed at optimizing overall costs and significantly improving operational efficiency. Safety Adherence: Strictly adhere to all established safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all personnel at construction sites. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation. Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and services. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in procurement software and systems (e.g., ERP systems). Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
