Senior Executive - Logistics

As a Senior Executive in Logistics at Mahindra HZPC Pvt. Ltd., your role involves various responsibilities to ensure smooth operations within the logistics department. You will be responsible for selecting and allotting lots for issuing indent slips based on sales and agronomy indents. Additionally, you will need to prepare SOPs for selecting lots based on tuber cutting and dry matter reports for different planting seasons and distances. Your duties will also include issuing indent slips to the cold store, conducting quality checks on packed material, and preparing reports. You will be required to sample bags for quality checks and ensure proper tagging, stitching, and weight of the bags. Monitoring the quality of left-over bags after 48 hours of packing and defining SOPs for quality control will also be part of your responsibilities. Another crucial aspect of your role will be preparing daily Stock Utilisation Reports (SUR) for completed sorting lots and ensuring no pending reports. You will need to collect information from various sources and fill the standard SUR template accurately. You will also be responsible for supervising the handling of out-grade materials, disposal of waste, and maintaining hygiene standards in the logistics operations. Coordinating with labor contractors, arranging labor groups, and ensuring smooth loading and unloading operations will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you will be involved in managing bags handling, creating stock transfers, maintaining inventory, and overseeing the disposal of used bags. Participation in meetings with the Logistics Manager, updating dispatch statuses, and handling SAP entries for invoicing and stock transfers will also be essential responsibilities. Your role will also require you to prepare quality forms for outbound vehicles, submit compliance forms to market committees, and identify/report lots with higher rotting levels for validation. Making decisions on substandard lots and coordinating with various teams to ensure quality standards are met will also be part of your job responsibilities.
