Senior Executive - Debt Management Services - Rural
About The Role
The Senior Executive - Debt Management Services - Rural is responsible for overseeing and managing the debt recovery process in rural regions. This role involves formulating effective debt collection strategies, coordinating with field teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The position requires a proactive approach to minimize delinquencies and enhance recovery rates while maintaining strong relationships with clients and local stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage debt recovery operations in assigned rural territories.

Develop and implement strategies for effective collection of overdue accounts.

Coordinate with field collection teams to monitor progress and resolve escalated cases.

Analyze and report on collection performance, identifying areas for process improvement.

Establish and maintain relationships with local clients, agencies, and community leaders.

Ensure adherence to company policies, legal guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct periodic training and mentoring of junior team members.

Handle complex and high-value debt cases, including negotiations and settlements.

Support management in developing debt management policies and procedures tailored for rural markets.

Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in debt recovery, credit management, or related financial services, with exposure to rural markets.

Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in debt management.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and motivate teams, especially in remote or rural locations.

Proficient in MS Office and debt management software.

Willingness to travel extensively within assigned rural areas.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment
This role involves frequent travel to rural regions to interact with clients and field teams. The candidate should be adaptable and comfortable working in diverse and challenging environments. Compensation
