Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Business Support & Process Control

Role Summary Business Support and Process Control

Location – Kolkata/Delhi

Business Support and Process Control

Operational Management

  • Handle daily insurance processes such as policy issuance, renewals, claims, and payouts.
  • Prepare and manage MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for performance tracking.
  • Coordinate with Head Office and other stakeholders for data, reports, and compliance requirements.

Customer Service

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping to avoid discrepancies in processing.
  • Support sales and Partner teams by facilitating smooth operational workflows

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and audit requirements.
  • Validate customer details (including middle name, KYC, etc.) to prevent inaccurate processing.
  • Assist in risk management by implementing maker-checker processes for all transactions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations and/or customer service; prior experience in the life insurance sector is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Hindi; proficiency in regional languages is a plus.
  • Prior experience in backend operations and policy issuance workflows.
  • Understanding of IRDAI regulations and insurance compliance standards.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong process orientation with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent coordination, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CRM tools is desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of life insurance products and customer servicing workflows.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-first mindset with the ability to deliver empathetic and solution-focused support.
